Snoreben Review- Non-Surgical Treatment for Symptoms of a Deviated Septum

This is a review of Snorben, a product which acts as a non-surgical cure for conditions such as snoring, sleep apnea, nasal congestion. If you suffer from a deviated septum and only have the above conditions then this is a viable alternative to septoplasty.

What is a Deviated Septum?

The nose is divided into two equal halves for proper air flow by the nasal septum. If this septum because of any reason gets deviated it causes various conditions like:

  • Snoring
  • Nasal Congestion
  • Nosebleeds
  • Headaches
  • Irritation

Currently the only permanent cure which is available for a deviated septum is a surgery known as septoplasty. But if you prefer not to undergo surgery and suffer from only a few symptoms such as snoring and congestion, then other non-surgical options are available.

The Highlights of the Snorben

A closeup picture of the Snoreben

The snoreben has the following characteristic features:

  • FDA approved class 1 medical device
  • Reusable for many years
  • Made from material which is latex, allergen free
  • Designed to fit comfortably and gently
  • Material used in construction is medical grade
  • Clinically proven to stop snoring, congestion and headaches
  • Retaining clip is made from surgical stainless steel

How does the Snorben Work?

The snoreben is scientifically designed to prevent any blockage in the nose. It will make the user breathe from the nose instead of the mouth and it also maximizes the airflow inside the nostril. Thus even if you have a deviated septum, this product will keep your nostrils open, thereby preventing congestion and most of the other conditions caused by the deviated septum.

Verdict on the Snorben

Positive feedback from customers:

  • “This product works great… I needed something to keep my nasal passages open while sleeping… I tried several other products trying to find the best one… The Snoreben did the job… I now rest and breathe comfortably at night”
  • “I bought the Snoreben last week and after a few days of getting used to it I couldn’t believe how well I felt when I woke up… I don’t think I’ve ever felt this good in the morning… and my wife said she didn’t hear me snore so we both benefited.”

Negative customer feedback:

  • “The cones are very small… My nostrills are not even large and these were far too small for me”
  • “Purchased this from Amazon two months ago… The device depends upon a U-shaped leaf spring to hold it in place… Once in place, the leaf spring imparts pressure on the cartilaginous septum that divides the two nostrils… Even if the device’s leaf spring is adjusted to the absolute minimum pressure needed to stay in place, I can’t get to sleep – much too foreign a feeling for me.”

I have researched using customer feedback from Amazon, a few deviated septum forums and other users of the product along with the information on the internet; I have come to the conclusion that this product is very good. It performs the job for which it has been designed, it offers an easy non-surgical solution if you only suffer from congestion along with snoring because of a deviated septum.

However there are a few disadvantages to this product as well:

  1. Firstly it does not work for everybody, if the device fits properly into your nose then it will work, otherwise it is better to purchase some other product.
  2. Secondly, this product irritates certain people, but the majority of users had no problem with the device.
  3. Thirdly this device costs around 20$. While it is costly, it is reusable for many years and if it fits you properly, it will reduce your deviated septum symptoms drastically. So this is not a major disadvantage.
  4. The device will take a few days to get used to.

So my final verdict is that, you should check before purchasing, check if the device fits you properly and then purchase it. I hope this review of the Snorben for symptoms caused due to a Deviated Septum was helpful to you.
